Cockermouth Girls Rugby enjoyed a fantastic training session this Sunday morning, with eight players taking to the field under clear autumn skies. The focus was on core rugby skills—scrummaging, line outs, rucking, and tackling—with plenty of energy and commitment from the girls throughout. We wrapped up with a spirited game that showcased teamwork and growing confidence across the squad. A warm welcome to the four new players who joined us today—it’s brilliant to see the team growing and thriving!

As always, training runs every Sunday from 10:00 to 11:15am, and we encourage all girls aged 10–16 to come along and give it a go. Next weekend, our Under 14s will be heading to the rugby festival in Upper Eden—best of luck to everyone taking part! We’re proud of how far the team has come and excited for what’s ahead.
