As the start of the new season draws closer, pre-season training dates have been announced by Cockermouth RUFC.

First and second team training starts on Wednesday 13th July at 6.30pm with new players of all abilities encouraged to come up and get involved.

The club are once again proud to be teaming up with Lake District Barbell who will be running fitness sessions every Monday night 7pm - 8.30pm. Additional fitness sessions and advice are also available with access to the clubs top class physio.

There's no better time to join the Wasps with the community club going from strength to strength as we look to win the Cumbria League 1 title this season.

First team captain Jimmy Hunter said 'I can't wait to get started with the lads this season. A big effort from everyone during pre-season training will set us up nicely as we look to bring the league title back to Cockermouth.'
