Colts shine with a strong county cup semi final win

Facility re opening update.

Thanks to all who offered help to the current problems at the club caused by burst water pipes. The plumbers have now found and fixed 30 plus bursts, the electrician is in inspecting the electric system . On going the Plumber has set a new system up to help ensure we can completely drain the water . So we will all be aware how to do that . Again thank you to all at Broughton Red Rose Arlfc who continue to host our teams for training, much appreciated. “President, Steve Stainton”.

Around the coaches

⭐️ performance comes from the Colts.

*Colts update*
We travelled to Wigton in a must win game to confirm our place in the U17s County Cup.
Not a good start as we had players drop out before we started, but we had 14 players up for the game. Brilliant spirit of the game shown by Wigton loaning us a player.
The lad's played out of their skins, with some fantastic rugby.
Final score 32 - 7 win for us, that's us now through to the U17s County Cup v Penrith 5th March at Silloth and we look forward to many of you supporting us.

U8s
Great day today at Whitehaven first game in a long time. Everyone played really well and worked really hard well done everyone. Thanks to our sponsors Neil @ NWB Consultants Ltd and Trevor at Trevor Dixon Exterior cleaning. Thanks lads?? “Coach Clopper”

Under 15s Ospreys.

Hi all thanks for those that made the journey today and supported the lads.
For those who didn’t we won 0-41 that’s 2 back to back nils now for the new year and more importantly a better performance this week too.
I just wanted to give a special mention to Robert Eve who I thought he had his best game for us today. He did really well and deserves a pat on the back, well done Rob we look forward to seeing his confidence continue to grow.
Well done all players, it was a great team performance and lots of lads pushing for different positions, it’s good to see ! Coach Dean Burgess.

Seniors

Unfortunately with a very strong out the first team game due to the ongoing club house problems was moved to Whitehaven and then called off due to waterlogged pitch. The boys will need a great weeks preparation with a tough fixture on Saturday away to unbeaten Upper Eden. Good luck lads.

Again unfortunately the 2nds team game was called off due to the ongoing club house problems, we should have hosted Carlisle at home.

Talent Development

Well done again to Dan Woodcock to featured for Falcons ? Under-18s 17-10 home win over Sale Sharks.
