The Wasps welcome Winnington Park Rugby Club to Grasmoor this Saturday on an afternoon that will celebrate 650 club appearances by our second row forward, Stef Highton. The 'Hoff' or 'Colonel' to many began playing for the club in the 1980's and during that time has never lost his will to win, in a career that spans five decades.

Travelers Winnington Park sit fifth in the North West Two league and will arrive in confident mood following a 23-13 win against Bolton in their last appearance. Ahead of the game Head Coach Chris Wright said 'The lads have had a good weeks training, and as we have come to expect this season we have a different team out from last week. We look forward to watching the boys defending hard and showing off their attacking skills on what is forecast to be a dry and bright day'.
