If Carlsberg did Saturdays.....

There were celebrations all round up at the Club on Saturday as both the first and second teams secured important wins.

Prior to the rugby it was fantastic to see club president David Coultard in attendance, along with committee members, volunteers, coaches and players, who all joined in for a club photo.

On the field the first team ran out 31-17 winners over travelers Bolton, taking them to tenth in the North Two West league. Overall it was a solid performance in both attack and defence, with James Hunter named man of the match with a typical battling display.

The second team impressed against Aspatria Eagles winning 30-15. With a strengthened side and players returning from injury they put up an improved display on recent efforts, with Shaun Walker awarded man of the match for an excellent performance.

Looking ahead to this weekend the first team travel to Orrell who sit bottom of the league, whilst the second team are also on their travels as they take on Upper Eden. Good luck lads!
